Thyme is a nutrition-tracking app for people who don't want to spend
their meal times fiddling with a database. You type what you ate — the
way you'd say it out loud — and Thyme's AI figures out the calories,
protein, carbs, fat and fibre. That's it.
* "chicken caesar salad with a slice of sourdough" → 540 kcal, 38 g protein
* "overnight oats with berries and a coffee" → 380 kcal, 12 g protein
* "grilled salmon with roasted vegetables and rice" → 480 kcal, 34 g protein
Under the hood, Thyme parses your food description with an AI model tuned
to your region's cuisine, then resolves each item against a food catalog
that covers homemade, restaurant and takeout dishes from around the
world. Everything logs to a local database so it works even if the
network is patchy, and quietly backs up to our server so you can move
devices.

Thyme is built by Slow Craft, an indie software studio in
Bengaluru, India, founded by Ashu Gupta.
The name comes from a habit we try to keep: ship things carefully, in
their own time. Software that grows in a hurry usually doesn't last.
We are currently a team of one, but we take support seriously. Every
email to hello@slowcraft.in is read by a
real person and answered within a day or two.

Thyme is currently in open beta. Everyone who installs during the
beta period is a Beta Founder — they get lifetime access to any premium
plan we introduce later, at no cost.
